Hayden Panettiere welcomed a daughter with her fiancé Wladamir Klitschko on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
Panettiere, who stars on TV drama Nashville, confirmed the baby news on Saturday. “We are over the moon and madly in love!” Panettiere and Klitschko told People magazine in their announcement. The engaged pair also revealed that they’ve named their daughter Kaya Klitschko. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and measured 20 inches long.
Panettiere officially announced her pregnancy back in August upon accepting the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. “I accept my ALS Challenge,” she said in a video posted via Instagram. “I renominate Kacey Musgraves — you’re not getting out of this, Wladimir Klitschko, and my unborn child.”
At the Emmy Awards later on in August, Panettiere revealed that she was having a girl.
Panettiere and Klitschko began dating in 2009 and briefly split in 2011. They became engaged in 2013.
