Rabid Republican Elisabeth Hasselbeck slammed the White House on Tuesday's edition of The View for failing to invite her to the annual White House Christmas Party. "Maybe I didn't do enough for the Republican party this year?" moaned Hasselbeck, who campaigned with Sarah Palin in Florida. But shortly after the show ended, a contrite White House house flack phoned in an apology. "The President's office explained that she and her husband were indeed invited to the White House for Christmas and were sorry that [the invitation] did not arrive," View rep Karl Nilsson told Usweeklymagazine.com. "It was simply an oversight." (Photo: WENN)
