Harvey Weinstein filed a lawsuit against car manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles over a 2019 car crash.

The former film producer is suing for $5 million in damages in an incident in which he flipped a Jeep Wrangler while trying to avoid hitting a deer. He claims that the accident has left him “catastrophically injured and rendered paralyzed” with “significant and continuing conscious pain and suffering.”

According to the complaint filed in the New York State court in Manhattan, Weinstein was wearing the seatbelt when the brakes on the 2017 Wrangler failed and left him with his current disability.

Weinstein is now serving 23-year prison sentence after being convicted of sex crimes from 2004 to 2013, to which he had pleaded not guilt. The case remains as the signature event in the #MeToo movement against sexual misconduct by well-known men. A New York State appeals court upheld the conviction on Thursday.
