One Direction fans nearly broke the internet on Tuesday as news reports revealed Louis Tomlinson‘s baby news — but after the shock wore off fans went on to do what they do best — make some ridiculously funny memes.
Twitter was set on fire this week after news sources reported that Tomlinson, 23, and stylist Briana Jungwirth, 23, were expecting a baby.
“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother. It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer,” a mutual friend of the couple told People, which first reported the news.
The anonymous source also told the magazine, “Although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby.”
Of course, some of the One Direction fangirls were upset by the news and were still hoping that they would have the chance to capture Tomlinson’s heart. However, once the news settled fans decided to have a little fun by claiming that band member Harry Styles was really the mother of the Tomlinson baby — they have the memes to prove it!
