Halsey Quietly Changed Her Pronouns On Social Media To ‘She/They’

Singer Halsey took to social media last week to change her pronouns to she/they in her Instagram bio.

While the “Bad at Love” singer has not publicly addressed the change yet, if they prefer one set of pronouns over the other. In a Sunday Instagram story, posted nothing but a black screen with the words, “Thank u” with a red heart. The subtle announcement, it appeared that she’s comfortable with both.

Halsey shared the joyful news in January that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin. Over the weekend, the singer shared an update on her pregnancy by posting a mirror selfie showing off her growing stomach. “Henlo :),” the photo was captioned.

Earlier this month, Halsey opened up to People that her pregnancy “was 100% planned” with Aydin. The singer has always been open about their struggles with reproductive health. In 2016, Halsey told Rolling Stone that she suffered a miscarriage minutes before a show and still went out and performed.
