‘Halo 5: Guardians’ Trailer Teases New Gameplay, Nathan Fillion As Edward Buck
Halo 5: Guardians debuted a brand new trailer and a new gameplay demo at Microsoft’s E3 2015 press conference on Monday, June 15.
Halo 5: Guardians Gameplay Demo Released
Halo 5: Guardians finds Agent Jameson Locke (voiced by Halo: Nightfall star Mike Colter) on the hunt for Master Chief, and the newly released gameplay footage features Locke and his Osiris team ready to go. Also featured in the new Halo 5 footage are Prometheans, the enemies in Halo 4, and new weapons. The trailer also teased a detailed story for Agent Locke and the rest of his team, including Edward Buck as voiced by Nathan Fillion, and used the team to demonstrate the game’s new “4-player cooperative” mode.
Xbox also teased Halo 5: Guardians Warzone, a multiplayer mode that features 24-hour battles.
The newest addition to the Halo franchise will include Warzone and Arena Multiplayer mode, which will provide a place for “skill-based 4-vs-4 competitive combat.”
Halo 5: Guardians won’t be released until October 27, but in the meantime, fans can watch Conan O’Brien attempt to beat the cast of Silicon Valley in a game.
