Halle Berry, 56, Shows Natural Beauty In Makeup-Free Selfie

Halle Berry went makeup-free in a new mirror selfie she posted on her Instagram account while wearing a lacy dress.

The 56-year-old actress can be seen wearing a pink ensemble with a plunging neckline and a black lace border. Her messy, wet blonde hair covered her right eye.

She held her phone in the mirror’s reflection and tilted her head as she paused for a quick photo.

The mother of two captioned the post, “Mirrors… the most honest friend out here.”

She accessorized her natural look with a pair of gold earrings that matched her glowing face.

The actress recently opened up to Marie Claire this February about her “signature look.”

“I don’t have one. I know that I’ve steered towards a more natural look. I have realized that less is more and less is best when you’re going down that path of life,” she explained.

“So I’ve gotten in touch with just taking care of my skin, staying healthy, exercising, and going down my natural path,” Berry added, admitting that she wears less makeup now.

Berry still attends events but tries to keep her makeup as minimal and natural as possible. She also keeps up with a workout routine to stay in shape. She has been keeping up with her health due to heart disease that runs in her family, as well as being diagnosed with type one diabetes.

“Being diagnosed with diabetes, that was an aha moment that just changed my whole life,” she stated, “That’s when I really committed to making fitness and exercise and diet a real part of my life.”
