Daryl Hall and John Oates are teaming up with multiplatinum British rockers Tears for Fears for a North American Tour.

HALL & OATES AND TEARS FOR FEARS ANNOUNCE JOINT TOUR

The 29-city tour will kick off on May 4 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and will wrap up in Los Angeles on July 28. “I am very excited to be touring with Tears for Fears,” Hall said in a statement. “Their music has a timeless quality that complements what we do. I think everyone is going to love this show!”

Oates added, “I can’t wait to get back out on the road in 2017. Performing with Tears For Fears will be an exciting and musical experience for me and all the fans.”

“We’re thrilled to be going out on the road with Daryl Hall & John Oates this summer,” said Tears For Fears. “We’ve been longtime fans of the band so it’ll be fun to reconnect and also to see our fans throughout the US.”

Tickets for the 80s throwback shows will go on sale on Friday, March 10 at 10 a.m. local time. American Express card holders will have access to pre-sale tickets from Tuesday, March 7 at 10 am. The final date will not be available for purchase until March 17 at noon.

Tears for Fears announced last June that they were working on their first new album in 13 years, and it was slated for release some time in 2017. The most recent studio set from Hall & Oates was 2006’s Home for Christmas.

Hall & Oates are known for their poppy 80s hits such as “You Make My Dreams,” “Maneater, and “Say It Ain’t So.” “Head Over Heels,” “Mad World,” and “Everybody Wants To Rule the World,” are among Tears for Fears greatest hits.
