Hailee Steinfeld celebrated her high school graduation over the weekend with a beachside gathering at the Hamptons and a surprise Karaoke party.

Hailee Steinfeld Celebrates High School Graduation

Steinfeld, 18, recently announced she signed a record deal with Republic Records and was surprised with a graduation celebration on Thursday, June 11, from her record label. Steinfeld showed off her Hamptons party on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag “#igraduatedhighschoolandsignedarecorddeal” (or ‘I Graduated High School And Signed A Record Deal’).

Steinfeld was homeschooled, so the actress didn’t get to attend a traditional graduation ceremony. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Steinfeld said she would probably celebrate with friends instead. Some of those friends included Republic Records’ Chris Walk and fellow singer/actress Demi Lovato, based on this Instagram posted by Walk.

That Saturday, Steinfeld celebrated again, this time with a surprise karaoke party thrown by her older brother, NASCAR driver Griffin Steinfeld and someone Steinfeld identified on Instagram as Hunter. “I had the best night of my life last night with my favorite people…We danced, karaoke-d (screamed, really) I laughed until I CRIED. Not really. But actually though. Thank you to everyone who came, I love you,” Steinfeld wrote on Instagram, sharing a few snapshots from the festivities.

Steinfeld’s brother also shared a few moments from the party on Instagram, including a short video of the Steinfeld siblings singing “Don’t Stop Beliving.”
