Gypsy Rose Blanchard was seen in public for the first time since leaving prison in Missouri.
Blanchard was released from prison after serving eight years for killing her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
In a photograph, she was seen walking out of a building carrying two plastic bags and holding a suitcase. Her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, was nearby with a large suitcase in his car.
Blanchard was granted parole in September this year and was released on December 28.
Blanchard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder after helping her boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, murder her mother. Gypsy Rose was sentenced to ten years in prison for her role in the murder.
Blanchard herself thought she was suffering from many health ailments, but many now believe she was a victim of Munchausen by proxy, a form of child abuse that has a guardian exaggerating or inducing illness to gain sympathy.
Her story was made into a Lifetime docuseries, Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, which premieres on January 5.
