Gwen Stefani Is Returning To ‘The Voice’ And She ‘Cannot Wait’

Gwen Stefani and NBC both announced on Tuesday that the singer will return as a judge to The Voice for the show’s 19 season. Stefani stepped away from her role as a full-time coach on the show after season 17.

Nick Jonas temporarily replaced Stefani on the show during season 18.

Stefani will judge alongside her longtime boyfriend, Blake Shelton, as well as Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. Carson Daly will continue his hosting duties.

Stefani re-posted NBC’s Instagram announcement on her account and captioned the photo saying, “Cannot wait!! 😍 gx.” She added the hashtags “#TeamGwen” and “TheVoice.”

The Voice will return for season 19 this fall, but as of now it is unclear if the judges will work remotely due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns.
