Gwen Stefani sputtered during On Air With Ryan Seacrest when asked about her wedding to Blake Shelton.
“Everything is going so quickly,” the former No Doubt singer said. “I’m in the moment and, um, look at me, you’ve got me tongue-tied.” The singer told Us Weekly that the couple hasn’t told their families the date yet. A Shelton source told the magazine, “they want to get married before the end of the year.”
Right now, Shelton is touring, and on Sept. 9 and 10, the show featured a duet between the couple who sang “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”
Both singers are recent divorcés, and “they both want something more low-key than their first weddings,” said a source. “It would likely be at Blake’s ranch or in the backyard. Gwen doesn’t really care, she is just in love with Blake and their life together.”
Stefani’s first marriage to Gavin Rossdale lasted 13 years, ending in Aug. 2016, and produced three sons – Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2. Shelton split from wife-of-four-years Miranda Lambert in July 2015.
“They are both very, very happy,” says the Shelton insider. “Blake is having the time of his life with Gwen and feels so comfortable around her.”
