Newly announced Voice coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams performed together on Monday night’s episode of The Voice, giving viewers a preview of what to expect next season.
Pharrell performed his song “Come Get It Bae “ earlier in the show and then later joined Stefani onstage for her 2005 hit “Hollaback Girl,” which he co-wrote with the singer. The performance, which included dancers dressed in bright yellow – bananas, indeed.
Stefani looked great in a black jumpsuit and danced all around the stage before Pharrell joined her at the end of the song to spell out ‘B-A-N-A-N-A-S’, as the song so famously calls for. The duo looked like they were having fun for their first official Voice outing as coaches, and Pharrell ended the performance with a sweet shout out for Stefani, saying, “Make some noise for the queen!”
Had so much fun on @NBCTheVoice tonight.
