In the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy, “It’s Raining Men,” we get a special Charmed reunion. The episode is centered around two long-lost sisters Heidi and Haylee (played by Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano respectively) who are brought back together after their other estranged sister has been in a freak accident. Their sister, Heather, has taken a 30-foot fall down a manhole at a construction site that lands her in the hospital.

Heidi and Haylee are forced to make a life or death situation when their sister’s condition gets worse. However, they are unable to make a sound decision about pulling the plug on their sister through all the arguing and years of resentment they have toward each other. Richard Webber (played by James Pickens Jr.) gives them a piece of advice in the meantime and says, “You should thank God you’re all still alive and have another shot at life and at forgiveness and at sisterhood. Don’t waste this.”

100 CELEBRITIES WHO DIED IN 2019 – TRIBUTE SLIDESHOW

Luckily, it turns out that the dying woman they originally had to make the life or death decision for was not actually their sister, but a woman who had stolen their sister’s purse (and identity).

While we find the sisters try to work on their newly formed relationship, we find Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) try to patch up her relationship with Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), also known as the woman who fired her after she committed insurance fraud. Although Bailey won’t overtly admit it, she misses Grey and wants to see Grey back at the hospital working. While she legally cannot let the former head of general surgery back into the OR, she can let Grey Skype in to virtually observe surgeries.

So, thanks to technology, Grey works with Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) remotely and the two prove to be quite the team, as Grey helps Wilson perform a successful surgery.
