'Grey's Anatomy': Four Regulars Sign New Two-Year Deals
Grey’s Anatomy, nearing its tenth season finale, will return four more of its series regulars for two more years.
'Grey's Anatomy' Actors Extend Contracts
Original cast members Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr., as well as Sara Ramirez, have all extended their contracts, confirmed Entertainment Weekly. The four actors join Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey is renewing their deals.
Shonda Rimes and ABC have yet to announce Grey’s Anatomy’s renewal for an 11th season though, it’s expected to come in the next few weeks.
Sandra Oh, who has played cardio surgeon Cristina Yang since the show’s start, announced her impending departure last August. Oh’s last episode will be Grey’s tenth season finale. For the last few episodes, the show has been setting up her exit from Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital – formerly Seattle Grace Memorial.
Grey’s Anatomy’s season finale will air on ABC May 15 at 9/8c.
