In an Instagram post, Green Day announced that they are selling a new T-shirt featuring their 1997 Nimrod album logo, placing the recognizable “nimrod” sticker over Donald Trump’s mug shot photo.
Last week, Trump became the first former American president to have his mugshot taken at the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office after surrendering at the Atlanta jail for alleged election fraud.
“Good Riddance, the ultimate Nimrod shirt is available for 72 hours only,” the band posted about their new product, which is selling for $35.
They also poked fun at one of Trump’s co-conspirators, Rudy Giuliani, by crossing out his legal defense fund and writing that all proceeds will be directed to Greater Good Music, “which brings food to those affected by the Maui wildfires.”
