In the first via satellite live performance from New York City in Grammys history, the cast of the historical hip-hop show Hamilton gave the world a peek of what it’s like to watch a Broadway show.
The cast performed their opening song “Alexander Hamilton” for the audience at New York City’s Richard Rodgers Theatre.
The cast did not disappoint as they delivered their performance perfectly.
The show has been a constant staple since its highly anticipated debut last August. The show’s creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda was inspired after reading Ron Chernow‘s acclaimed 2004 biography, Alexander Hamilton.
