Summer is a time for barbecues, fireworks, and outdoor music festivals. For those looking for an alternative to Chicago’s Lollapalooza, Tennessee’s Bonnaroo, or many of the festivals in Southern California, or for those on the East Coast who might not want to travel so far for a large festival experience, they might consider attending the Governors Ball in New York City. Early tickets for the premiere music festival of the Big Apple have recently gone on sale. The event’s organizers posted a full lineup list on their official Instagram page a few weeks ago.

The festival, which will be celebrating its tenth anniversary, is set to take place on Randall’s Island from June 5 to June 7. Just some of the over 60 artists performing at the festival include Missy Elliott, Tame Impala, Stevie Nicks, Vampire Weekend, Carly Rae Jepsen, Danny Brown, and Solange.

The event will also promise a multitude of other bonuses for festival goers. “A food program that features the City’s best eats and highlights its incredible culinary diversity… A beverage program that features popular name brands, craft, spirits, cocktail concoctions, and plenty of nonalcoholic options… Unannounced pop-up performances that surprise and delight” wrote the festival on its website.
