Dustin Johnson, the PGA star and fiancé to Paulina Gretzky has reportedly tested positive for cocaine.

Dustin Johnson Tests Positive For Cocaine

Initial reports merely stated that Johnson, 30, was taking a leave of absence from golf, cutting off his PGA Tour before the Ryder Cup. Now, it is being reported Dustin has been banned from the PGA Tour for six months for testing positive for cocaine. Johnson failed a drug test for marijuana in 2009 and two for cocaine in 2012 and 2014, according to a Golf.com report.

When Johnson announced he would be taking a break from the tour on Thursday, he said, "I will use this time to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced. By committing the time and resources necessary to improve my mental health, physical well-being and emotional foundation, I am confident that I will be better equipped to fulfill my potential and become a consistent champion."

In a separate statement, the PGA Tour said, “We have nothing to add to Dustin’s statements but wish him well and look forward to his return to the PGA Tour in the future.”

In addition to his positive drug tests, Johnson, known for his partying ways, was arrested for a DUI in 2009.

Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, has yet to comment on her fiance’s PGA Tour ban and decision to seek treatment.
