Golden Globes 2016: Wiz Khalifa Kisses Mom On Lips On Golden Globe Red Carpet

As stars arrive on the red carpet with their dates, it is normal to plant kiss on a cheek – or lips – of the loved ones. Wiz Khalifa arrived on the red carpet with mom, Katie Wimbush. As the cameras flashed, Wiz planted a kiss on his mom’s lips.

Wiz is attending the Globes for Best Original Song for “See You Again” from Furious 7. He’s up against Ellie Goulding‘s “Love Me Like You Do” from Fifty Shades Of Grey; Brian Wilson‘s “One Kind Of Love” from Love & Mercy; Sam Smith‘s “Writing’s On The Wall” from Spectre; and David Lang’s “Simple Song #3” from Youth.

“It’s a great song for people who are going through something and need to know that everything is going to be alright,” he said outside the Beverly Hilton.

Wiz cleaned up nicely with a Tom Brown black suit and white shirt, which he wore with a loosened tie. The pants he kept purposely short to show off Gucci loafers. His mother, also known as Peaches, matched him with a white blouse and floor-length black skirt.
