Golden Globes 2016: Taraji P. Henson Wins Best Actress In Drama For ‘Empire’

Taraji P. Henson decided to sweeten everyone’s night as she handed out cookies on her way to accept the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama for her role as Cookie in Empire.

When she reached the stage, Henson commented, “Get off my train!” in true Cookie fashion to a man helping her up the stairs, she yelled, “Cookies for everyone tonight. My treat!”

Henson explained how she couldn’t believe in all the roles she has ever had, that it was Cookie brought her to the win.

The winner ever reprimanded the show’s producers and demanded more time. “Please wrap? Wait a minute. I waited 20 years for this. You gonna wait. Yeah, you gon’ give me a little more time.”
