Glenn Keogh, an Irish actor who has landed roles on some of the biggest shows in television in the last couple of years, now appears on CBS’s promising new drama Scorpion.

Glenn Keogh On 'Scorpion'

In Scorpion, Keogh plays the father of central character Walter O’Brien, a bona fide genius that assembles a team to help the government fight global terrorist organizations. As Keogh explained exclusively to uInterview, “[Scorpion] is based on the true story about a gentleman called Walter O'Brien – who is an Irish guy, a genius – and he is hired by the U.S. government as one part of a crack team.”

Keogh added, "He's got a group of guys who are all geniuses also, and it just follows his journeys on a week-to-week basis. They've solved problems that the existing administration could not."

Keogh went on to reveal that his character appears in the pilot, and though he didn’t want to give too much away, the character confirmed that after a few week hiatus, the character would be back in action on the show, potentially in a big way.

Prior to joining the Scorpion cast, Keogh had a recurring part on Sons of Anarchy. Keogh, who has only good things to say about the experience on the FX biker gang drama, is a major fan of the show and has some insight on how the finale will play out for Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and SAMCRO.

“From what I understand, there’s big things planned,” Keogh told uInterview. “I have an idea in my head about how it will end. I imagine it’ll be a big bloodbath right at the end I’m sure.”

Scorpion airs Mondays on CBS at 9/8c. In addition to Keogh, it stars Elysen Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong and Ari Stidham.
