Gisele Bundchen's Model-Paradise Homeland

Anyone looking for the next Vogue covergirl or star of a multi-million dollar ad-campaign should stop heading to New York and seriously consider visiting Brazil. Specifically, Southern Brazil, mostly made up of rural farm country, has been a producer of many exports – tobacco, coffee and now models.

Birthplace of uber-model Giselle Bundchen, Southern Brazil has a history of Italian and German colonization, so its residents are a fetching Euro-Latin mix, a model-scout and designer’s dream.
Over time, farming villages such as Santa Catarina, Parana and Giselle’s home town of Rio Grande do Sul have become havens for model scouts who are looking for their next money maker.
