Gisele Bundchen Spotted In Costa Rica With Rumored New Boyfriend Joaquim Valente

Gisele Bundchen was spotted out to dinner in Costa Rica with her Jiu-Jitsu instructor, sparking rumors that she is moving on just weeks after her split with ex-husband Tom Brady.

The supermodel and Joaquim Valente were seen on Saturday night leaving a sushi restaurant with her and Brady’s two children, Vivian Lake, 9, and Benjamin Rein, 12, trailing behind them. Bundchen was looking casual as she stepped out with her new rumored beau. One of the kids’ teachers, Jordan, was also on the trip.

A source close to Bundchen told Fox News that there is “no truth to any dating rumors.” The source said that the trip to Costa Rica was not romantic and that the rumors showed “a whole new level of disrespect and disregard” for the mom-of-two.

Bundchen has talked about her relationship with her trainer before. She shared a video of one of her Jiu-Jitsu sessions in February, praising Valente and his brothers for “being awesome teachers.”

“I feel stronger, more confidence and empowered since I started practicing self-defense,” she wrote on Instagram. “I feel it’s an important skill for all, but especially for us women.”

The 41-year-old was also featured with Valente, 34, in a recent Dust magazine spread. The two were photographed in suits, and Bundchen revealed why she started taking classes.

“Initially, I wasn’t even considering it for myself, to be honest with you. But, when I brought [my son] to the first class and started talking with Joaquim, I realized that it was much more than self-defense,” she said. “I became really interested in the philosophy. It felt very much in line with what I believe in and look for in my life, and how I have a path to develop and become the best version of myself.”

Valente has been teaching Bundchen and her kids for a year and a half. A source close to the Brazilian supermodel told Page Six that their relationship is “strictly platonic and professional.”

However, another source close to Bundchen and Brady told TMZ that they’re suspicious of the trip to Costa Rica.

“It always seemed weird she just one day abruptly ended the marriage,” they said.
