Gipsy Kings Thrill On 2023 U.S. Tour With Classic Songs – Setlist Info & Ticket Info

Gipsy Kings performed Sunday night at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center thrilling a packed house with a slew of their classic tunes like “Volare” and “Vamos A Bailar.” The night featured exciting solos by the group’s founder Tonino Baliardo. The band’s cover of “Hotel California,” which was featured in the 1998 hit movie The Big Lebowski, was a particular crowd-pleaser.

The band is on its 2023 Renaissance tour with dates across the United States. The tour coincides with their new album of the same name, the band’s first in eight years.

Gipsy Kings is a band of Catalan musicians who play rumba, flamenco, pop and salsa music. They are well-known for popularizing rumba flamenco, pop music derived from traditional flamenco and rumba, for a worldwide audience.

The group had success with their self-titled album (1987), which featured songs like “Djobi Djoba,” “Bamboléo” and “Un Amor.” The LP spent forty weeks on the U.S. music charts.
