Gio Benitez, a reporter for ABC News, proposed to his longtime boyfriend Tommy DiDario in Paris this week.
Benitez and DiDario, who have been traveling around Europe for the last week, both announced their engagement on Instagram.
“Today I said yes to my true partner in life,” DiDario captioned a picture of his and Benitez’s hands and matching rings. “Couldn’t be happier to stand next to you forever.”
“Celebrating a magical day in the city of love!” DiDario captioned a snap of the two embracing with the Eiffel Tower in the background. “Much thanks for all the kind words and well wishes!”
Benitez shared a picture of the actual proposal, writing, “Time is what’s left behind in the wake of love.”
While Benitez, in his role as a correspondent for ABC News appears on Good Morning America and World News Tonight, DiDario works as an actor and lifestyle blogger.
