Gina Rodriguez Wears Zuhair Murad Gown On Oscars 2018 Red Carpet

Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez looked straight out a fairy tale with a modern twist on the red carpet before presenting at the 90th Academy Awards.

Rodriguez was nothing less than enchanting in her Zuhair Murad dress that came straight from their Spring 2018 collection. The nude dress had a deep plunging neckline that went all the way down to her stomach. The dress had silver crystals all throughout the dress, but had a stronger focus around the center of the dress. It also featured a chevron-styled belt that wrapped around her waist. To add to the princess feel, the dress had an overlay train that added volume to the overall look.

The presenter accessorized the dress with diamond jewelry, including a couple diamond rings and a pair of star-shaped earrings, which were all provided by Forevermark Diamonds.

Though the length of the dress makes it difficult to be seen, she also wore a pair of Jimmy Choo heels on the red carpet.

Rodriguez’s makeup artist Carissa Ferreri was describes her Oscars makeup as a “softness by blending taupes and nudes and a pop of violet to the eyes.” She was trying to create a look that gave an overall nude yet glowing look that would match with the actress’s dress.

To put all the focus on her dress, Rodriguez wore her hair in a simple and sleek ponytail, letting all the focus to be on the gorgeous neckline of the dress.
