The Other Art Fair in Sydney, Australia showcased 130 talented independent and emerging artists, each hand picked by a committee of art experts. Among this year’s highlights was a giant inflatable head of Homer Simpson, called “Homer Homer.”
“Plus, with performances, DJ sets, art installations and a fully-stocked bar awaiting you, The Other Art Fair has everything you need to enjoy a cultural, creative day out in a Covid-safe environment,” read the the city of Sydney’s website.
They are also hosting a virtual art fair that opened on March 23 and will run virtually through March 28.
Presented by Saatchi Art, The Other Art fair “gives you the opportunity to meet a curated selection of over 110 independent artists and browse thousands of pieces to suit every budget under one roof.”
The virtual art experience that is currently running allows visitors to navigate a three-dimensional fair environment, chat with artists, and purchase art from a large variety of pieces available. There are 110 independent artists featured on the page.
