Selena Gomez stepped out in New York in a chic-casual outfit.

Gomez left her hotel Monday morning in a curve-hugging white tank top and daisy duke jean shorts. She paired the pieces with a black-and-gold brocade jacket and tan chelsea boots. To beat the summer-time heat, Gomez wore her hair in a low messy bun and added a bit of color with a light pink lip.

The 22-year-old was in the city promoting her newest track, “Good For You,” featuring ASAP Rocky. The sultry song has the ex-Disney star singing over a mellow track and features lyrics such as “I just wanna look good for you, good for you, uh-huh / Let me show you how proud I am to be yours.” This is the first single to be released from her much-anticipated sophomore album.

The ex-Disney star has been working hard on reinventing her music career by working with new producers such as rumored flame Zedd, and other top hit makers in the music game. The singer hasn’t released an album since Stars Dance back in 2013.

To get this look for less, start with these denim shorts from Macy’s. These cut-offs feature a frayed hem, a slim fit and are low-rise. The distressed look of the shorts will make them seem more authentic and custom while the low rise fit will keep them looking casual. Pair it with a basic-but-classic white tank top with a tight fit for a more polished look. Complete the look with a brocade jacket and tan boots.

Get The Look For Less: Shorts, Macy’s, $22.99. Tank, Macy’s, $14.50. Jacket, Amazon, $34.50. Shoes, Macy’s, $69.
