The British star plays a maidservant in the film based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Hardy about a woman in Victorian England who is headstrong struggling to choose between three very different suitors. The film also stars Carey Mulligan (Bathsheba), Michael Sheen (William Boldwood), Matthias Schoenaerts (Gabriel Oak) and Tom Sturridge (Sergeant Francis Troy). The film comes out this weekend and is a romantic drama.
