Hilary Swank hosted the United Service Organizations’ Comfort Crew For Military event in a tight-fitting pencil dress in New York last Tuesday.
Swank attended in a multi-patterned dress that featured a plunging neckline. The Oscar-winning actress was showing off her muscular figure and toned legs in the number. Swank paired the eclectic look with black strappy sandals while wearing her hair down in soft waves.
Swank has been caring for her ailing father, Stephen Swank, who just recently underwent a lung transplant. The 40-year-old actress revealed to the Huffpost Live her struggles in being a primary care taker. “My dad is living with me. I’m his sole caretaker now,” she said. She went on to add that she has even been passing up on movie roles to look after him. “There’s been hob opportunities I’ve passed on, and things that I’ve said ‘I can’t’, but really what we’re here for is our family.”
The event which hits close to Swank’s heart as the daughter of a retired Air Force senior master sergeant, highlighted the issues facing military families specifically children dealing with their parents’ deployment.
