Geraldo Rivera decided to share a shirtless picture of himself standing in a bathroom wearing nothing but his towel on his Twitter account over the weekend.

Rivera captioned the revealing photo, “70 is the new 50 (Erica and family are going to be so pissed… but at my age…)" Rivera has since taken the post down, and followed up with somewhat of an explanation for the exhibitionism. “Not to self: no tweeting after 1 a.m."

Though he ultimately removed the picture of his flat stomach, it wasn’t before many – including conservative TV personality Glen Beck – got a good look at it. In fact, Beck posted a copycat picture, wearing a towel around his waste, but a whole lot of clothes on top. "Okay 40 isn't 70. But still – check out my bathroom towel pic!" he tweeted along with the picture. "Sorry ladies I just can't turn this off!"

Rivera’s 18-year-old daughter also saw his Twitpic, in which his towel is dangerously close to making it NSFW. She tweeted at her father, “TAKE THAT TWITTER DOWN RIGHT NOW.”

On Monday, Rivera admitted during a radio show that he’d made the poor decision to post the picture after “a couple of drinks.”
