George Clooney will no longer ride his motorcycle. On Tuesday, a publicist for the actor and gearhead confirmed he’s giving up riding and is auctioning off at least one of his motorcycles.
The actor put one of his bikes, a 2017 Harley-Davidson, up for auction to support Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit which builds and donates specially adapted homes for veterans injured after 9/11. Clooney’s 2017 Dressing Tour Ultra Limited FLHTK Harley-Davidson is listed on eBay and has only 25 miles on the odometer. He also promises to sign the bike for the winner.
The listing adds that Clooney’s wife, Amal Clooney, “ has told him he’s off two wheels for good.” The actor’s publicist would not specify why Clooney stopped riding but said that it was his own decision.
The auction will start at $28,000 and comes after Clooney was in “a scary accident” earlier this year in Italy. He was briefly hospitalized after a car hit his scooter while driving through Sardinia.
