Haley Pullos, who stars on General Hospital, is being sued after she crashed into another car while allegedly driving under the influence and severely injuring the other driver, Courtney Wilder.

She was arrested in April in connection with the crash.

Wilder has now decided to sue her over the incident.

On April 29 around 1:30 a.m., Pullos was driving “recklessly” when she drove the wrong way on an off-ramp from Colorado Boulevard onto the 134 Freeway. Pullos almost hit another car, but the driver, Gerald Legaspi, was able to swerve away just in time.

Legaspi claims that he was driving down the freeway when all of a sudden he saw headlights coming his way. Luckily, Legaspi did not get injured. After Legaspi swerved out of the way, Pullos “collided head-on” with the car Wilder was driving.

Wilder was injured during the accident and rushed to the hospital where she was in critical condition. She had to undergo “extensive surgery and treatment” and doctors have determined that she will require even more treatment to recover fully. Wilder’s car was totaled in the crash.

Pullos had to be rescued by firefighters. While they tried to help her, she fought back and yelled at them, “This is a $400 f—ing shirt!”

She was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance where she was physically abusive towards the firefighter. After arriving at the hospital, she continued to be aggressive towards the staff who were trying to help her, so she had to be sedated.

Police suspected that Pullos was driving under the influence and found mini-tequila bottles and edibles that contained cannabis in them in her vehicle. It was found that she “was simultaneously intoxicated with marijuana and drunk on alcohol.” Police charged Pullos with driving under the influence.

According to the lawsuit, “Haley Pullos acted maliciously and without any regard for the safety of others. Prior to the collision, [Pullos] intentionally and purposefully drank alcohol well past the point of intoxication and then got behind the wheel of the vehicle. She also ingested marijuana edibles, which were found in her vehicle with empty alcohol containers by police after the collision.”

The Pasadena Fire Department posted pictures on Twitter of two cars that were totaled shortly after the crash occurred.

They additionally captioned the photo: “Freeway Rescue – 134/Orange Grove.  Early this morning PFD responded to a traffic collision requiring rescue of occupants from both vehicles. Cause is unknown but always a reminder to stay within the speed limit, avoid drinking and stay off your phone.”

Pullos plays Molly Lansing-Davis on General Hospital. She is taking time off the show to recover, and her role will be temporarily recast until she recovers.
