Fezco, now Oscar, the 'gay' dog (Image: Stanly Animal Shelter)
The story of the “gay” dog Fezco, who was tragically abandoned after his owners saw him humping another male dog, now has a happy ending.
The dog has been adopted by a new family, gay couple Steve Nichols and his partner John. They discovered the dog was up for adoption after seeing a story about the abandoned pooch by local reporter Morgan Fogarty. Nichols said he changed the dog’s name from Fezco to Oscar in reference to the famed gay Irish playwright Oscar Wilde.
Nichols said his and John’s first plan for Oscar is a short stay at the vet, because the dog arrived to them not neutered and with heart worms from his previous owners. Nichols ensured people that he is committed to nursing Oscar back to health whatever it takes.
Oscar will be joining their home along with their Terrier-Chihuahua mix Harry, and he won’t be judged this time if Harry decides to hump him as a hello when he gets back home from the vet.
