Country singer Garth Brooks just announced the newest World Tour stop, which will be in Kansas City, MO. Brooks and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, will be headed to Kansas City in early May, for the first time in 10 years.
The singer-songwriter is scheduled to perform at Kansas City’s Sprint Center on May 6, at 7:30 PM. This will be Brooks’ final World Tour stop. As with his previous shows, Brooks will be joined by his wife, who’ll appear as his special guest.
This Kansas City performance will conclude Brooks’ two-and-a-half year long world tour, which started in September 4 in Chicago, Illinois. Since then, Brooks had kept the suspense going, only revealing one stop at a time through his website. He had made the announcement for his first location on the website, excitedly stating:
“I am overjoyed with the announcement of Chicago and the opening of the World Tour…between Chicago and Dublin, it’s been a roller coaster ride of emotions. We are starting with the tour page, each city will have its own announcement… We will grow together. Here we go!”
And now, it looks like the end is near, with the last show scheduled in Kansas City. Tickets for the Kansas City World Tour concert will go on sale on March 31 at 10 AM CT, with a limit of eight tickets per purchase. Tickets will go for $60.59 each, and with taxes and fees applied, comes to a total of $74.98.
