Soon after the wildly popular HBO series, Game of Thrones came to its end, the world of Westeros is perking back to life. The Game of Thrones spinoff series is currently filming and in a location used for many of the Game of Thrones episodes.

The new drama has been filming in Northern Ireland, where many popular scenes were shot for multiple seasons on Game of Thrones. The prequel has yet to be named, but is said to be set in thousands of years before the events seen in GOT. The plot and episodes for Game of Thrones have always been highly secretive, and the same can be said for this new series. Although, it has been confirmed that Naomi Watts has been cast in the series and will be portraying a “charismatic socialite” according to author, George R.R Martin.

Many GOT fans were disappointed by the show’s ending, but in a recent interview, Watts has assured fans that they will not be disappointed in the new series. “It makes me very excited, yeah, goosebumps all over,” Watts said about the new project. “It is intimidating. It’s very exciting. And yes, having just come off the last series, where the world was blowing up over it. Everything was Game of Thrones related. All the advertising on TV, every article, everyone’s jumping on that bandwagon. So, it is scary.”
