Game of Thrones fans were so elated that a new trailer was dropped for season 6 that they watched it 30 million times in 24 hours.
While an acoustic version of Chris Isaak‘s “Wicked Game” playing in the background, fans are given their biggest and longest look into season 6.
Flashes of fan favorites such as Daenerys played by Emilia Clarke and Arya played by Maisie Williams in danger, and it showed Jon Snow played by Kit Harington dead after last season’s insane cliffhanger.
Snow’s body is seen on a slab in the quarters of Red Priestess Melisandre. Snow’s father, Ned Sparks also makes an appearance.
The upcoming season fans will also see Ian McShane, Max Von Sydow and Richard E. Grant joining the GOT cast.
HBO has also confirmed that this is their most watched trailer thus far for all their shows. This is also the first time that the show has surpassed George R.R. Martin’s novels.
The show is set to premiere on HBO on April 24 at 9 p.m.
