‘Game Of Thrones’ Couple Rose Leslie & Kit Harington Welcome Their Second Child

Rose Leslie, 36, and Kit Harington, 36, have welcomed their second child, a daughter, two years after the birth of their firstborn, a son. 

Neither of the children’s names have been disclosed. 

The couple’s preference to keep their children’s identities and lives private is no surprise as they dated privately for nearly four years before they made their red carpet debut in 2016 as an official couple. Within two years of the debut, the Game of Thrones couple announced their engagement with a local newspaper in their hometown and exchanged vows in Scotland.

In a 2017 interview with The Guardian, Harington said he doesn’t believe in talking about relationships with the media.

“I strongly believe it’s her relationship and mine, and anything I say here, she may not want me to say,” the Eternals actor said. “So I just don’t say it. I genuinely think it’s our private life.” 

Harington announced in a February interview with Jimmy Fallon that he and Leslie were expecting their second baby. 

When Fallon asked Harington about his son, he said the two-year-old was “about to get the shock of his life, which is that he’s about to get a brother or sister.” 

“I’m terrified. You know, with the first baby, you’re like walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months,” he said before adding a joke. “Well, the man is anyway.” 

“But this time you go like the reality check comes much shorter. You’re like, you get practical real quick,” he continued. 

In the same interview, Harington talked about his new film Baby Ruby, which is available to watch now on Hulu. Leslie’s last onscreen appearance was in an HBO series called The Time Traveler’s Wife, which was released in 2022.
