Game of Thrones, the runaway hit HBO series that also manages to be backed by critical praise, has already done a pretty good job making household names and up-and-coming stars out of such actors as Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Sean Bean (Ned Stark), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon), but soon there will be even more characters you'll have to keep up with, as season three of Game of Thrones will introduce a bevy of new faces to the seven kingdoms.

HBO announced the names of some of the new cast members and their characters for the upcoming season three, which will not debut until 2013, reports USA Today, and here is the rundown:

Diana Rigg will portray Lady Olenna Tyrell

Mackenzie Crook as Orell

Clive Russell as Bryndon "The Blackfish" Tullly, uncle to Fiarley's Catelyn

Nathalie Emannuel as Missandei

Kerry Ingram as Shireen Baratheon, the daughter of Stannis Baratheon

Paul Kaye as Thoros of Myr, a member of the Brotherhood Without Banners

Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Jojen Reed

Ellie Kendrick as Stark ally Meera Reed

Richard Dormer as the Brotherhood's Beric Dondarrion

Kristofer Hivju as Tormund Giantsbane

Philip McGinley as the Brotherhood's Anguy

Tara Fitzgerald as Selyse Baratheon, wife of Stannis Baratheon

Tobias Menzies as Edmure Tully, Catelyn's brother

Anton Lesser as Qyburn, a former maester of the Citadel.
