Gal Gadot Reveals New Wonder Woman Poster

Actress Gal Gadot revealed а new Wonder Woman poster recently.

The actress posted a photo of the poster with the message, “Believe in Wonder.”

Gadort will star as the titular character of the upcoming movie. Set during World War I, Wonder Woman sees U.S. military intel specialist Steve Trevor stranded on the Aegean island of Themyscira, home of the Amazons. He informs them about the global conflict — the so-called “war to end all wars” — and the news hits Diana Prince particularly hard. She leaves the island to try to stop the fighting and will become Wonder Woman.

Gadot explained to EW that her character is multi-layered. ‘She has the heart of a human so she can be emotional, she’s curious, she’s compassionate, she loves people,’ Gal said of Diana Prince. ‘And then she has the powers of a goddess,’ she added.

In addition to Gadot, Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine, Danny Huston, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, Saïd Taghmaoui and Ewen Bremner. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and will hit the theaters on June 2, 2017.
