Teenaged boys ought to have no reason to complain in the coming months, given what we saw between plays Sunday night. From the board game-inspired (Battleship) to the action figure-inspired (G.I. Joe 2) to the comic book-inspired (The Avengers), Hollywood's most highly priced movies — those bankable enough to land a spot during the Sunday's telecast — all seem so quintessentially PG-13. Who would've thought that Disney's John Carter, in which Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch battles aliens in Mars, would look like one of the more grown-up movies to be advertised?

But if you're suffering from action hero fatigue, Hollywood hasn't completely forgotten about you. There's still the Sacha Baron Cohen's comedy The Dictator, the animated adaption of Dr. Seuss' The Lorax and the highly anticipated big screen adaption of the popular book, The Hunger Games. (OK, we tried. Hopefully you have a nephew or someone like that to go with you.)

Here's a look at some of the trailers you may have missed from last night's big game:

Battleship is brought to us courtesy of the same people responsible for Transformers and, from the looks of the trailer, we can expect similar results — lots of CGI, explosions and action. More importantly, it features Rihanna's big-screen debut.

G.I Joe 2: Retaliation is Bruce Willis and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson vs. Cobra. Need we say more?

The Avengers' trailer is still light on the details, but from what we can tell Robert Downey Jr. and his charisma are teaming up with his superhero friends to save the world.

Taylor Kitsch made the jump to the big screen in two Super Bowl trailers this year: Battleship (above) and John Carter, here:

We've seen some of this trailer before, but Cohen's latest offering looks more promising than Bruno:

As expected from a Dr. Seuss adaption, it looks like The Lorax will provide plenty of beautiful images and whimsy – as well as the vocal talents of Danny DeVito.

The trailer for The Hunger Games technically aired during the Super Bowl pre-game show, but we're including it anyway. Check it out here.
