Is Frankie Muniz, 25, prepared to add his name to a growing list of childhood stars gone wrong?

The former Malcolm in the Middle actor was involved in a dispute with his girlfriend, Elycia Turnbow, last week that was revealed on Tuesday. Police arrived on the scene at Muniz's Phoenix home after Turnbow called the incident in, claiming that the actor "punched her in the back of the head and threw her into a wall" in what she described as an "intense" domestic dispute about previous romantic partners, reports The New York Daily News.

Turnbow also said that her actor boyfriend held a gun to his head, prompting her to call the police for fear that he would harm himself. Muniz, who has been dating Turnbow since 2008, denied to authorities that the firearm was loaded, though the gun was impounded by police anyway. He also denied assaulting Turnbow, telling police, "I love her too much. She is the woman I want to marry."

The duo certainly seemed to have cleared the air by the time Valentine's Day rolled around. On the most romantic of all holidays, Munez posted a picture on twitter of "the table all set for Valentine's Day dinner." Just to make things clear, he added, "I love @elyciamarie." —KIMBERLY STEELE
