Frankie Grande, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo & Lena Waithe Take A Memorable Selfie At Paris Olympics

During the Paris Olympics’ Artistic Gymnastics Women’s Qualification at Bercy Arena, a star-studded group including Frankie Grande, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and Lena Waithe posed for a memorable photo that showcased their excitement and camaraderie.

Ariana Grande, who will appear in the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked alongside Erivo, embraced a retro 1960s style for the occasion. She wore a belted boatneck midi dress paired with oversized round glasses, epitomizing the fashion trends of the era. Grande accessorized with a stylish wicker handbag and pearl stud earrings, while her sleek ponytail and makeup featuring brown eyeshadow and a glossy mauve lip completed her look.

Erivo also made a strong fashion statement in a Thom Browne ensemble. Erivo donned a mint-green striped button-up shirt with the designer’s signature red, white and blue ribbons. She added a vibrant touch with an emerald-green tie and draped a matching sweater over her shoulders. Her outfit was finished with aviator sunglasses and a sophisticated earscape of small hoop earrings.

During the event, Ariana was seen socializing with prominent figures such as Australian director Baz Luhrmann and actress-producer Lena Waithe, highlighting the convergence of entertainment and sports.

Both Grande and Erivo had previously graced the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics, which took place on Friday. The ceremony was a glamorous affair, featuring appearances by supermodel Cindy Crawford, model Kaia Gerber and tennis champion Serena Williams. The star-studded event also included performances by music icons Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and French singer Aya Nakamura.

Frankie Grande recently spoke to uInterview exclusively about his LGBTQ horror film Summoning Sylvia. “I think a lot of studios and a lot of network executives are still terrified of including LGBTQ+ characters because they feel like it could lead to excluding some of their core audience members,” Frankie said. “I think the opposite is true. I think the more inclusive your films get, the more they will reach a broad audience.”
