Hackers stole and leaked nude photos of Fox Sports host Charissa Thompson from her iCloud account.
Thompson, 35, had her photos taken without her permission and placed on a site known for sharing stolen celebrity photos by hackers. Nude photos of Lindsey Vonn, Tiger Woods, Miley Cyrus and Kristen Stewart all have appeared on the same site in the past.
Thompson hired attorney Andrew Brettler of Los Angeles law firm Lavely & Singer to have the photos removed from the site. “It is a disgusting invasion of Ms. Thompson’s privacy, and we are working with law enforcement authorities to ensure that those responsible for hacking her account and publishing her photos are brought to justice,” Brettler told The News.
While the photos have reportedly been taken down, the Los Angeles District Attorney is still planning to investigate the matter. The DA’s office has its own Cyber Crime Division, which will be handling the case.
Thompson hosts Ultimate Beastmaster at Fox, and co-hosted SportsNation on ESPN with Marcellus Wiley until June 2013. Thompson will also host the 2018 Players Tailgate event at Super Bowl LII next month.
In 2023, Thompson sparked outrage when she admitted to making up quotes in her NFL stories.
