Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo are finally back together.
Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa recently reunited at an early birthday celebration in honor of Game of Thrones co-creator David Benioff. The former on-screen lovers both shared smiling photos together on their Instagram pages, captioned with cheeky references to their shared GoT romance storyline.
“When your sun and stars rolls into town you check that he can still bench press a Khaleesi #💪🏻 #😘,” Clarke writes. The pair grins widely as Momoa lifts Clarke up in his arms.
Momoa posted a series of photos posing with both Clarke and Benioff, captioning the post “MOON OF MY LIFE. you are wonderful love u forever @emilia_clarke #smilelyeyes happy birthday benioff you handsome generous badass leo aloha j.”
Although the hit fantasy show ended in 2019, Clarke and Momoa seem to still be close friends with each other as well as the rest of the GoT cast. Last month, Clarke posted a tribute to co-star Iain Glen, captioning her post: “The man. The myth. The LEGEND @iainglen60 HAS JOINED INSTAGRAM! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 ‘KHHHALLEEESSSSIIIII!!!” My hero and my guide for over a decade… please instaworld show this man the lovin he deserves #🥰 #👏 #🥳.”
