Former Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Faces Backlash For April Fool’s Prank

Arie Luyendyk Jr. is facing backlash yet again on Twitter – this time for his April Fool’s prank.

The former Bachelor went on Twitter and posted a picture of his fiancé Lauren Burnham claiming she is pregnant with their child.

He soon posted another tweet saying “APRIL FOOLS! ”

Many of his followers were displeased with the prank.

Others reminded him of previous his insensitivity, referring to his ex girlfriend Becca. In the finale of The Bachelor he decided to take back his proposal to Rebecca Krufrin and go back to runner up Burnham.

He later tweeted an apology for his insensitivity to those that were offended by his tweet.

 

I do have sympathy for women struggling from infertility. My April Fools prank was in no way meant to offend women who struggle with that. I apologize if you were effected personally by my post.
