Food Network Star Darnell Ferguson Arrested On Charges Of Strangulation, Battery & Making Terroristic Threats Against His Wife

Food Network star Darnell “Super Chef” Ferguson has been arrested on multiple charges.

Ferguson was arrested on January 9 following a report that he broke into the alleged victim’s home, who is his estranged wife. After punching some walls, Ferguson then attacked her by grabbing her neck and threatening to kill her. Ferguson allegedly stole her credit cards and ID.

The same day the attack took place, a protective order against Ferguson was granted to the victim.

“Darnell and his wife are separated, and are working together to find a new balance for their family,” his lawyer told the New York Post. “They had a disagreement on January 2 that was subsequently reported to the authorities in a misleading and false manner.”

A Food Network star, Ferguson first appeared as a guest on the Rachael Ray Show in 2015. He later appeared on numerous cooking shows. He was recently a co-host on Season 25 of Worst Cooks in America.

While the Food Network has not released a statement regarding Ferguson’s arrest, episodes of Grudge Match, another show he hosted, have been pulled from streaming services.
