Florence Pugh & Andrew Garfield Dress In Pink For Valentino Show In Paris

Mean Girls may have said to wear pink on Wednesdays, but Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield made their own pink day.

Pugh and Garfield were both powerfully pink during Paris Fashion Week as they attended the Valentino Womenswear spring/summer 2024 show.

Pugh wore a blush pink suit over a matching ribbon top. Garfield, on the other hand, wore a long dark pink trench coat over a rusty orange dress shirt and khaki pants.

The pink pair kept close at the fashion show and were spotted sitting next to each other in the front row. Though there are no dating rumors, Pugh and Garfield are working on an upcoming romantic comedy, We Live In Time, which will be directed by John Crowley.

Crowley’s recent movies include Brooklyn, in which Saoirse Ronan is the main star, and The Goldfinch, which stars Ansel Elgort and Sarah Paulson. No other details about the upcoming rom-com have been announced, but Sherlock‘s Benedict Cumberbatch is an executive producer of the film.

This isn’t Pugh’s first time attending a Valentino show in pink. Last time, she wore a sheer hot pink tulle dress that showed her breasts, which created controversy and threw body-shaming comments at her.

That didn’t stop Pugh from wearing another sheer dress to another Valentino show this year, though. In July, the Little Women actress wore a sheer lavender dress, showing those who made hateful comments that their negativity had no effect on her.

In 2015, Garfield spoke to uInterview about his film 99 Homes and working opposite Laura Dern.

“Laura Dern was a big help,” he told uInterview. “She’s such an actress you know. She’s such a brilliant, genius actress, so we managed, especially in that first eviction scene, it was really a team. Also, it’s not hard to put yourself in that position somehow, it’s not hard to imaginatively enter that feeling of being exiled, being discarded as trash. Everyone knows that to some degree, so that was really that entry point, that feeling of exile.”
