FKA Twigs Hasn’t Watched Fiance Robert Pattinson In ‘Twilight’

FKA Twigs revealed in a new interview on Sunday, that she has yet to see her fiance Robert Pattinson’s popular vampire film Twilight.

Twigs, 27, admitted to UK’s Sunday Times that she has not seen Pattinson in his famous vampire role.

“I don’t understand what the levels [of fame] are,” the British singer explained. “I’m a bit naive. I don’t read Heat [magazine], for example. I don’t engage in that world, even with myself, even with my own career.”

Twigs, also known as, Tahliah Debrett Barnett, appears to avoid what many would consider “normal.”

“It’s so bad to be basic,” the singer added. “I’m not the kind of person who goes to an exhibition on a Thursday night just because everyone is.”

“No one tells me what to do,” Twigs said. “It’s easy. I’m not like a package pop star. For my next album I want to write my own music because it’ll make me feel more in control of my career. This is what I’ve always been.”

The pop star also revealed that she’s taken some abuse on Twitter from Twilight fans, who were not happy about her relationship with Pattinson, after his split from Kristen Stewart in 2013.

“I don’t feel anything anymore,” Twigs shared. “I’ve only cried once over it.”

However, the British pop star refused to confirm her engagement to Pattinson during the interview, noting that she was “not prepared to talk about my private life” and that she doesn’t “really understand the fascination.”

It appears that the couple try their best to remain out of the spotlight. “I absolutely love it,” the singer told the paper of their life. “That’s all I want to be, I’m such a home bod.”
